Tia Carroll is a powerful, smoldering blues and soul luminary from the San Francisco scene. She performs a range of original music and timeless standards, and on this night will be throwing in some favorite holiday classics into the mix. She’s shared stages with Ray Charles, B.B. King, Jimmy McCracklin, Syl Johnson, and Sugar Pie DeSanto, and her voice has been compared to Tina Turner, Etta James and Koko Taylor. Celebrated for her weekly radio show on KPOO 89.5FM San Francisco, Carroll’s voice moves and astounds. In her words, “it’s show time, y’all.”
