About Us:

Livermore Downtown Inc. (LDI) is a nonprofit organization dedicated to enhancing and promoting our vibrant downtown community. We support local businesses, plan dynamic events, and foster a strong sense of place for residents and visitors alike. Weโ€™re looking for a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our small but mighty team!


Position Overview:

We're seeking a Part-Time Executive Assistant whoโ€™s passionate about small businesses, community development, and getting involved in the heart of Livermore. This role offers a variety of responsibilities, from behind-the-scenes coordination to front-facing community engagement.


Key Responsibilities:

๐Ÿ—‚ Administrative Support

  • Manage phone and emails
  • Prepare documents, reports, and meeting materials
  • Coordinate with vendors, partners, and volunteers

๐ŸŽ‰ Event Planning & Coordination

  • Assist with logistics for community events (street fairs, farmers markets, holiday happenings, etc.)
  • Help with setup, teardown, and onsite support during events (some evenings/weekends required)
  • Communicate with event participants and small business owners

๐Ÿ“ฃ Marketing & Social Media

  • Draft and schedule content for social media platforms (Instagram, Facebook, etc.)
  • Assist with email newsletters and promotional campaigns
  • Help with graphic design, flyers, and signage (Canva or similar tools)

Ideal Candidate:

  • Has excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Can juggle multiple tasks and adapt to a fast-paced environment
  • Enjoys working with the public and being part of a community
  • Is tech-savvy and familiar with social media, Canva, Google Workspace, etc.
  • Has a flexible schedule and can support occasional weekend/evening events
  • Bonus: Experience with nonprofits, downtown revitalization, or event planning
