One of the best power pop bands in the world, The Rubinoos gained national prominence with their 1977 debut LP featuring top 40 hit “I Think We’re Alone Now,” which renowned rock critic Gene Sculatti called “the best pop album of the decade.” The Rubinoos have since gone on to release numerous albums with the help of iconic musician/producers such as Todd Rundgren, Kevin Gilbert, and Chuck Prophet. Over the years, the band has shared the stage with the likes of Elvis Costello and Tom Petty, and their infectious sound has appeared in multiple feature films and TV shows including the legendary “Dick Clark's American Bandstand,” “Revenge of the Nerds,” and the Netflix hit comedy “Sex Education.”
