Selected Shorts is a live theatrical experience where three to four stories, mostly fiction, sometimes classic, sometimes new, always read by great actors from stage, screen, and television. The cast at the Bankhead features Emmy Award Winner Tony Hale of Arrested Development & Veep, Emmy nominated Jane Kaczmarek of Malcolm in the Middle, Tony Award Winner Anika Noni Rose of Caroline or Change, Dreamgirls and the voice of Tiana in Disney’s The Princess and the Frog, and Mara Wilson of Mrs. Doubtfire & Matilda reading stories selected specifically for each memorable event.
