Show Description:
Kayaking almost 200 miles in 18 days, Kim Grandfield joined 6 others on a 5 week kayaking/sailing expedition to Antarctica. Highlights include hundreds of seals and whales, thousands of penguins, visiting 5 international Arctic bases, swimming in the Antarctic Sea, and two 5-days crossings of Drake’s Passage.

Talk Starts: 7:30PM (we advise you arrive about 7:15PM to get seats)

Cost: Nothing! This is a FREE event!
Please RSVP! This helps us determine how many seats to provide, but you may need to BYOC (Bring Your Own Chair).

Show Parking Information:
A large parking area is located behind the Sunrise Mountain Sports shop. This parking can be accessed from Railroad Ave, Livermore Ave, and L Street. There is limited parking on First Street. A free parking garage is also located on Railroad Ave (about 2 blocks from Sunrise).
