Daizy’s Chakra Workshops are back! Chakras are the energy centers that run along the spine and are thought to contain individual characteristics and expressions in the yogic philosophy. If you are a beginner to chakras this is the class for you! We will be exploring each center beginning in the Root Chakra through learning about how a balanced and imbalanced chakra is expressed,as well as oils, crystals and foods that support each individual center. This will be a journey from the Root as we Rise up into the Crown Chakra. After we discuss we will be led through a 45 minute yoga class based in that chakra.
In March we will continue the series with the Solar Plexus chakra, our center of Willpower, Sense of Self Confidence and Creative Life Force. It centers around the balance of the body through the liver, digestive and adrenal systems. It is how we transform matter into energy to fuel our body and the last of the Earth centered chakras.
You can start this series at any time, so don’t be too concerned if you weren’t able to catch the earlier classes. Come and discover more about yourself through these classes, learning to balance and tune into our chakras can be an empowering tool in our self-care belt.
Remember to wear comfortable clothes that you can do your yoga class in and any items to build a cozy nest while we sit and discuss. You are also welcome to bring any sacred items or crystals to add to the altar during the class.
Attendees are encouraged to wear the color of the chakra (Solar Plexus is Yellow). This is a playful SUN centered practice, we are encouraged to be our child and learn through embodiment of FUN.
