Livermore Valley Opera’s Education and Community Engagement Program is thrilled to bring a 45-minute performance of Donizetti’s comic opera The Elixir or Love to the Livermore Library, located at 1188 South Livermore Avenue, on Saturday, January 25 from 10:30 to 11:30 am. The Elixir of Love is an entertaining, lighthearted comedy, filled with Donizetti's delightful music that will bring non-stop smiles to audience faces.
During this charming opera performance, children from the audience will be invited to participate, playing support roles alongside the four professional artists. By encouraging youth engagement, Livermore Valley Opera presents an informal opportunity for families to gain a better understanding and appreciation of this vibrant art form. The opera will be presented free of charge to all attendees and costumes will be provided.
