Thursday is ALMOST FRIDAY at Almost Famous: come enjoy an all-evening happy hour and live acoustic music in the lounge from 4 to 8 pm. $10 off all bottles, and $2 off all glasses.
Jon Lawton will play two sets: one at 5pm and one at 6pm.
Jon Lawton is a singer/songwriter out of Oakland Ca. He began performing and writing songs in 1979. Originally he came from the LA area, but spent many formative years in both Omaha Ne., and Santa Barbara Ca. . Jon’s music is what is currently known as Americana. He’ll tell you it’s original and traditional country, blues and folk music. He plays the 6 and 12-string guitars, the banjo and a National steel guitar. His songs can be funny, poignant, loving and personal, sometimes all in the same song. Jon is a very affable and direct performer. (‘We look forward to having Jon here at the...’)
There is a two drink minimum for each guest.
Outside food is welcome, but please bus your table of any food items when you are finished. Wraps, hummus plates and cheese plates available for purchase. No outside beverages.
