Acclaimed blues musician Aki Kumar pioneers a genre rooted both in classic Blues standards and retro Indian Bollywood music. With praise and accolades from Dan Akroyd, Charlie Musselwhite and Living Blues Magazine, Kumar's bi-continental sound channels Memphis and Mumbai - a new brand of the music that's definitely all his own.

Co-headlining the night is triple threat talent Howell Devine, featuring, Joshua Howell (guitar, harmonica, vocals) percussion savant, Pete Devine (drums, washboard), plus veteran upright bassist, Joe Kyle Jr. Howell Devine deftly mixes Delta and Country Blues with wildly syncopated rhythms to create a rollicking present-day sound rooted in early blues. Their music stands in stark contrast to the typical blues heard in bars these days and would more likely be shaking the floors of a Southern juke joint some 70 years ago. Lee Hildebrand of the SF Chronicle and Living Blues states, "There is no blues band performing today as different as HowellDevine—nor as delightful."

There is a two drink minimum for each guest.

Unoccupied tables in the stage room cannot be claimed first come, first served until 8:15pm. Upgraded seating must otherwise be purchased. Outside food is welcome, but please bus your table of any food items when you are finished. No outside beverages, including non-alcoholic beverages. With a menu of 15 wines in diverse styles, complimentary filtered water, and sophisticated non-alcoholic options, there's something for everyone.
