Two hot, high-energy blues bands in one night! The “reigning king of Bollywood blues” is joined by this year’s IBC regional winners.

21+ Carmen Ratti Band featuring Jill Dineen will play at 6:30 pm. Aki Kumar and his band will play at 8:15 pm.

The Mercury declares Aki Kumar to be the "reigning king of ‘Bollywood blues’ music." He pioneers a genre rooted both in classic blues standards and retro Indian Bollywood music. With praise and accolades from Dan Akroyd, Charlie Musselwhite and Living Blues Magazine, Kumar's bi-continental sound channels Memphis and Mumbai - a new brand of music that's definitely all his own.

Joining him fresh off a Golden Gate Blues Society International Blues Challenge win is the Carmen Ratti Band featuring vocalist Jill Dineen. With scorching, high-energy performances, raw, powerful lead vocals, superbly emotive guitar, an exceptional groove, and an inspired, dynamic mix of show-stopping originals and steamy, innovative covers, this Bay Area band delivers in every way.
