Terry Hanck, a Chicago-born saxophonist and singer, has established himself as a powerhouse in blues and soul, drawing inspiration from legends like Fats Domino and B. B. King. Celebrated by Living Blues as "one of the most formidable saxophonists in the blues and soul business," Hanck's transformative journey began in California during the 1960s, with his introduction to the eclectic music of L.A.'s KBCA radio station. His immense talent caught the attention of Elvin Bishop from the Paul Butterfield Blues Band, leading to a long-time collaboration, including the chart-topping hit "Fooled Around And Fell In Love." Hanck has since carved out his own legacy, forming his band in 1987 and being recognized as a stellar showman. He's also mentored talents like guitarist Chris "The Kid" Andersen, who's now a sought-after producer. The present lineup features acclaimed musicians, including Johnny Soubrand, Butch Cousins, and bassist Tim Wagar.

See them live at Almost Famous Wine Lounge, an award-winning, new tasting room and venue located on Vasco Road in the heart of Livermore's wine, spirits and brewery district. Almost Famous Wine makes fifteen wines in diverse styles, and earned over 50 top industry awards since our debut last year.
