Get ready for a spooktacular day of FREE, family-friendly Halloween fun in Downtown Livermore!
Join us Saturday, October 24, from 10 AM–1 PM for trick-or-treating, live music, a costume contest, kids’ activities, games, and more!
Designed for children in 5th grade and under, families can enjoy trick-or-treating at participating downtown businesses, along with Halloween-themed kids’ activities, costume contest and trick-or-treating hosted by local businesses at Carnegie Park.
Please Note: This year, the kids’ activity booths and costume contest will be temporarily relocated to Carnegie Park at Third and J Streets to accommodate the temporary Elephant Migration Art Display.
Come dressed in your favorite costume and enjoy one of Downtown Livermore’s favorite Halloween traditions with your family!
Businesses: Booth space at Carnegie Park is limited and available on a first-come, first-served basis. Applications will be accepted through October 9 or until spaces are filled. Submission of an application and payment does not guarantee acceptance.

*Please note, this year activity booths will be located at Carnegie Park due to the Elephant Migration Art Exhibit that will be on display October-December in Livermore Downtown. Multiple life sized elephants will be on display and sharing both Stockmen's Park and Bankhead Plaza during this event.
Trick or Treat Bags are back!
Trick or Treat Bags are back! Thanks to Marcel Orthodontics, the first 1,500 little trick-or-treaters will receive a FREE official Kidz Town Halloween Hay Day bag (while supplies last). Pickup during event at Livermorium Plaza and Carnegie Park at Marcel's booths.
Costume Contest

Show Off Your Creativity in the Costume Contest!
Our Costume Contest is free for all attendees, and we can’t wait to see your amazing family, group, and individual looks.
Costumes should be at least 70% handmade—we want to celebrate creativity and originality! Prizes will be awarded for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place in each category:
- Infant–4 years
- Ages 5–8
- Ages 9–12
- Family/Group
